Electronic cigarettes belong to the "heavy" group of goods for customs clearance, due to the fact that, when coding, they can be assigned to several UKTVED (Ukrainian classification of foreign economics goods) groups, which causes contradictory and ambiguous situations with customs authorities regarding the amount and payment of taxes

Cigarettes themselves must have not only an excise stamp, but also a corresponding, legally defined marking on the package

To work with this group of goods, the importer must have an appropriate license for the sale of tobacco products in Ukraine

We formed a number of mandatory recommendations for the appearance of the goods, they had to be implemented at the stage of production of the batch. Part of the requirements, the manufacturer, without delaying the terms of shipment, could not fulfill (subsequently, we placed the batch in a temporary storage warehouse and marked it)
